Statement of Belief

  • We believe the Bible is the only authoritative, inspired, infallible Word of God.
  • We believe there is one God revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, He performed miracles, and willingly gave His life for our atonement through His shed blood. On the third day He arose from the grave in bodily form. He ascended to the Father's right hand. He rules as Head of the Church, and He will return in glory for it someday.
  • We believe that in order to receive salvation, one must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, acknowledging that it is only by His grace and atonement for our sins and not by our works that we are saved.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, enabling them to live godly lives.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the lost and the saved, the lost unto damnation and the saved unto eternal life in heaven with Christ.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ, with equality across gender, racial, and class differences.
